This is a weekly series submitted by the Harnett Animal Welfare Coalition (HAWC) providing information on adoptable pets at the Harnett County Animal Shelter.This week’s pet is ‘Stella,’ an ‘absolutely gorgeous girl. Sweet and shy, 8 months old.’ Spay voucher will be sponsored. Adoption fee for dogs and cats younger than 4 months of age is $30.The fee for dogs and cats 4 months and older is $36, which includes a one-year rabies vaccination.The Harnett County Animal Control is located at 1100 McKay Place, Lillington. Adoption hours are Monday,Tuesday,Thursday and Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Holiday hours vary.) One-year rabies vaccinations are given by appointment from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Mondays,Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays. Cost is $6.
