The Town of Erwin and the Erwin Area Chamber of Commerce have invited the community to support local law enforcment officers Wednesday, July 27 at 6 p.m. in front of town hall. For more information, contact the EACC at (910) 897-7300.
There is no set time limit on Wednesday’s prayer rally, which will feature three local ministers.
Erwin Area Chamber of Commerce is collecting gift cards for the 11 full-time and six part-time Erwin law enforcement officers. They can be donated at the police department headquarters in the Erwin Municipal Building.

“The Erwin Police Department is grateful that the community can come together and have this event to show their support for law enforcement,” Lt. Jonathan Johnson said. “The police department appreciates all of the support that we have received and we are proud to be able to serve the Town of Erwin and it’s citizens.”
