Fifth Sunday Night Community Sing

Full Gospel Revival Center will hold its fifth Sunday night community sing this Sunday at 6. The church is located at 607 S. Sampson Ave., Dunn, off Pope Road. The pastor, Everette Faircloth, invites the public to attend.

Yard Sale, Bake Sale At Sacred Heart

Sacred Heart will hold a yard sale and bake sale Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon at the parish hall. The church is located at the corner of Ellis and Cumberland Street, Dunn.

Gospel Music Event At Stone’s Creek AC

Musical duo Eric & Laura Ollis will join their sons, Payton and Mikey to present a gospel music event Saturday. The Eric & Laura Ollis Memorial Day Homecoming Celebration will take place at Stone’s Creek Advent Christian Church, located at 343 Woods Crossroads Road, Benson, during Memorial Day weekend.

Joining the Ollis family at their Memorial Day Homecoming Celebration Saturday will be the quartet, The Harvesters, as well as male vocalist, Ron Hise. Also to be featured on this special evening will be the Stone’s Creek Choir.

Free Movie At The Journey

The Journey will present a free movie June 1. “War Room” will be shown at 7 p.m. Free popcorn will be available. Child care will be provided for children ages 0 to 5. The church is located on U.S. 421 directly across from Plain View Elementary School.

Youth Sunday, Memorial Day Cookout

Jonesboro Baptist Church will hold Youth Sunday and a Memorial Day cookout Sunday. The service will begin at 11 a.m. with guest Youth Pastor Josh Brown. A Memorial Day cookout will immediately follow in the fellowship hall. There will be hot dogs and hamburgers with all the trimmings, as well as different flavors of homemade ice cream.

Youth Revival

Youth revival will be held at Harnett Chapel OFWB Church, 715 E. Edgerton St., Dunn. The guest will be Elder Kevin Mayhue of Piney Grove OFWB Church, Ellerbe. Service times are June 1-3 at 7 nightly; June 4, Youth Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and June 5 with Elder John Woods during the morning worship service. Elder Dr. Margaret Wilson is the host pastor.

Youth Group Art Fundraiser

A youth group art fundraiser will be held June 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Jonesboro Baptist Church fellowship hall, 2020 Jonesboro Road, Dunn. The cost is: large wooden cutouts/large canvas, $25 each; small wooden cutouts/small canvas, $15 each. Cutout choices include large — cross, mason jar, home plate, circle, rectangle and scroll; small — Christian fish, cross, home plate and circle.

All funds raised will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House to help the families who stay there.

Community-Wide Yard Sale June 11

Western Assembly will hold a community-wide yard sale June 11 beginning at 6 a.m. at the Western Assembly Headquarters Building, U.S. 701. Reserve spaces by Saturday. To reserve a space or for more information, call Willa Dean Elliott at (910) 892-4641.

Fish dinners will also be sold in the dining room.

‘7-Up Program’ Sunday

Benson Chapel Church will host the Northeast Old OFWB Conference Union tonight through Sunday. Presiding bishop is A.H. Hartsfield. Tonight’s service will begin at 7 with Elder Carla Anderson delivering the message. Saturday’s service begins at 10 a.m. Sunday’s service will be at 11 a.m. with Elder Antonio Chrisp, host pastor, delivering the message.

Buffet Breakfast At Calvary Baptist

Calvary Baptist Church will sponsor a country buffet breakfast Saturday from 7 to 10:30 a.m.

The menu consists of country ham, sausage, bacon, grits, eggs, homemade biscuits, red-eye gravy, peaches, jellies, molasses, coffee and juice. Donations are accepted for the meal. The church is located approximately seven miles east of Dunn on N.C. 55 near the N.C. 242 intersection.

Fifth Sunday Sing

New Hope Baptist Church will host a fifth Sunday night sing Friday.

Westfield Baptist News

The youth at Westfield Baptist Church will hold a fundraiser May 30 from 5 to 9 p.m. The proceeds will go to a camping trip this summer to Passport. The youth leaders are Lori and Steven Moore.

Westfield Baptist Church will hold its Summer Wednesday Night Live for all youth ages 3 to 12th grade.

The program will be held each Wednesday night beginning June 8 from 6 to 7 p.m. The theme is “Shake Out & Shine.” There will be Bible study, praise, prayer and worship services, as well as fun and fellowship.
