Lucky Dog Bingo Is Friday In Lillington

The Money Maker will be at Lucky Dog Bingo this Friday. Win up to $2,500 with four Lucky Dog pots for more chances to win. Pizza available in concessions. Lucky Dog Bingo is located at the VFW, 409 S. Main Stt., Lillington. Proceeds benefit Harnett Animal Welfare Coalition.

Early Voting Under Way

Early voting for the special-called June 7 Congressional election is under way. Voting will continue during regular hours, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until June 3. Early voting will also be open Saturday, June 4 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Voters must show a valid photo identification in order to vote.

Fairy Garden Workshop Is Saturday At Dunn Library

The Westhaven Garden Club will host a Fairy Garden Costume Contest and Fairy Garden Workshop at the Dunn Library Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Learn about famous fairies and how to make a fairy garden. There is a prize for the best costume. Costume contestants get first opportunity to make and take a mini-fairy garden.

Blood Drive Today At Golden Years

There will be a blood drive and health fair today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Golden Years Nursing Home, 7348 Northwest St., Falcon. Donors will receive a T-shirt while supplies last. Dirtbags Tryouts Are Wednesday

The Dirtbags 2016 fall tryouts for traveling baseball teams are Wednesday at Diamond Dreams 1393 Overhills Road, Linden. For the 8 and under through 13 and under teams the time is 6 to 7:30 p.m. and for the 14 and under to 17 and under teams is from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Cost is $10. Sampson County 4-H Summer Registration Is Open

Registration is open until Friday for the Sampson County 4-H Summer Adventure Series. It is open to all youth (5-18) in Sampson County. The 2016 Summer Adventure Series highlights learning and fun opportunities for youth in Sampson County. The 2016 line-up features day camps, residential camp, field trips and other opportunities for teens (ages 14-18), juniors (ages 9-13) and Cloverbud (ages 5-8). There are also trips and experiences that have mixed age groups with varying ranges. Community Action Group To Meet
