Neill’s Creek Ruritans To Meet Tuesday.
The Neill’s Creek Ruritans will hold their regular monthly meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Ruritan Clubhouse, 1090 Tysinger Road, Lillington.

Adoption Fees Waive For Veterans
A program available throughout Harnett County allows veterans to adopt animals with all fees being waived with the exception of the fee for spay ane neutering animals.
According to Animal Control Director Steve Berube, the $30 adoption fee and $6 fee for rabies vaccinations, which are paid by non veterans are waived for those who have served in the military. Veterans still must pay $70 for a voucher that can be used at local veterinarians for the spay and neuter fee. The program therefore saves veterans a total of $36.
