Man Charged With Growing Pot
A northwest Harnett man is now in jail on charges he was growing marijuana in his home. The arrest came after Harnett County deputies executed a “knock and talk” along the 1000 See Pot, Page 3

block of N.C. 42 in Holly Springs. Officers found a total of nine marijuana plants or 68 grams of pot in the house. The plants were valued at approximately $21,600. Tanner Gardner, 21, was charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was held in the Harnett County Jail on a $38,000 bond.
