Ennis Resigns NJ Post

Ashley Ennis has resigned as football coach at North Johnston, according to reports.
Ennis took over a Panthers program that was winless in 2013.
North Johnston went 1-10 in Ennis’ first season in 2014 and improved to 5-6 last season.
Ennis’ decision to leave the program was based on a desire to be closer to home and spend more time with his family.
He and his wife are expecting their first child in August.
Ennis, who resides north of Dunn, had a significant commute to North Johnston.
Ennis compiled a 19-4 record in two seasons at Triton, including an unbeaten regular season in 2012.
Ashley Ennis was a successful coach at Triton before increasing North Johnston’s win total.
