Dunn 10-U Softball Takes Pair At District Event In Carthage

Dunn’s 10-and-under softball All-Stars won two games Saturday in the Dixie district tournament in Carthage.
Aubree Bass had a two-run homer as Dunn defeated Lumberton 14-4 in its first game.
Dunn downed Hope Mills 3-1 in its second game.
Dunn 8-And-Under Advances Dunn’s 8-and-under softball All-Stars were edged 9-8 by West Robeson in its opener but regrouped by topping Hope Mills 15-11 and West Robeson, 14-6, to reach the championship on Sunday.
