Doretha C. Artis, 86, of 4850 Overcreek Lane, Dunn, died Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday at Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, 707 E. Edgerton St., Dunn, by the Rev. Renwycke Harris and Samuel Lassiter. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
Survivors include daughters, Estalene Artis and Patricia E. Artis, both of Philadelphia, Pa., Myra D. Artis of Godwin and Karen L. Artis of Dunn; sisters, Juanita C. Riley, Geraldine C. McLaurin and Lauretha C. Brooks, all of Fayetteville, Naomi Cameron of Dunn and Thessalonia C. Brown of Upper Marlboro, Md.; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be present from 2:30 to 3 p.m.
