Michelle Lee Coats, 40
Ms. Michelle Lee Coats, age 40, of Coats died Friday, May 27, 2016, at her home.
Michelle was born in Johnston County on Oct. 27, 1975, the daughter of Margaret and Billy Coats. She was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Maggie Stallings; paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Coats; a special aunt, Thelma Williams; and a special uncle, Bill Williams.
Michelle loved the beach, ocean cruises, loved music, artwork and enjoyed observing all the farm animals especially the sheep and lambs while riding her golf cart. Even with her health challenges she gained great joy through spending time with her family, especially her beloved daughter, Anna.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Marie Coats; parents, Margaret and Billy Coats of Coats, N.C.; a sister, Josephine Jeanette Coats Plog; a brother, Adam Joseph Coats; personal friend, Yolanda Allen; and many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
