Obituaries must be submitted by a funeral home or crematory service. (If out of town/state, please include local connection in obituary.) Deadline to receive obituaries is 4:30 p.m. for the next day’s paper; holiday times may vary. Obituaries will be free as long as they follow The Daily Record guidelines. There is no charge for photos. Obituaries may be faxed to (910) 891-5253 or e-mailed to jross@mydailyrecord.com.
