Eula G. Stancil, 89
Eula Gregory Stancil, 89, of Angier died Saturday, June 18, 2016, at SECU Hospice House, Smithfield.
She was born Dec. 15, 1926, in Harnett County to the late Ralph Lane and Flora Nordan Gregory. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Ray Stancil; a sister, Mary S. Stevens; and a brother, C. Albert Gregory. Mrs. Stancil was a homemaker and was a member of Coats Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and served in many capacities.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Coats Baptist Church by the Revs. Jesse Mooney and Grove Blackburn. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier.
Survivors include sons, Freddie L. Stancil and wife Kathy, and Phillip R. Stancil, all of Angier; grandchildren, Julie Raynor, Brandon Stancil and wife Kathryn, Bradley Stancil and wife Kristi, and Taylor B. Faircloth; great-grandchildren, Brandon Stancil II, Alex Raynor, Jared Raynor, Fisher Stancil, Saylor Stancil, River Stancil and Tyde Stancil; and a brother, W.H. Gregory of Angier.
The family will receive friends this evening from 5 to 8 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home, Coats, and other times at the home of Freddie and Kathy Stancil, 466 Stancil Road, Angier.
