Harnett County Board Of Commissioners Meeting Tonight
Tonight, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners will meet at 7 at the County Administration Building on Front Street in Lillington.
Some of the items on the agenda include two public hearing to address re-zoning proposals. The first at Chipmunk Court and Red Bird Drive in Cameron near the Nature’s Crossroads subdivision. The second at Stewart Road in Dunn.
There will be a proclamation honoring the life and service of Pvt. Rae’Laurin Gates who was killed along with eight other U.S. Army soldiers in a training exercise in Texas.
A resolution honoring 34 years of Harnett County EMS service for Dr. Mark S. Glaser is also on the agenda. The resolution is proposition of Dr. Glaser being honored for his work on the PEER review committee, emergency medical response policies, his relationship with other local, state and federal partners.
